This is a targeted safety notice for the correct and safe use of illuminated decorations. Due to electrical risks, the presence of batteries, cables, heat, and outdoor conditions, please follow the instructions below to avoid injury, fire, and damage.

Basic safety and handling principles

• Keep out of reach of children and animals: There is a risk of strangulation by cable, swallowing small parts, and electric shock. The product is not a toy.
• Electrical safety: Use only undamaged cables and connectors; any signs of overheating, smoke, or smell are reasons for immediate disconnection.
• Distance from flammables: Do not cover lights with textiles or paper and do not place on flammable surfaces.
• Eye protection: Do not look directly into bright light sources from close range.

Proper and safe use

• According to intended use and IP rating: Use only in the environment for which they are intended (indoor/outdoor) and with the specified level of water and dust resistance.
• Power supply: Connect mains garlands only via the original adapter or power supply with the same parameters; do not combine multiple strings unless specified by the manufacturer.
• Solar lights: Place the panel in the sun, do not cover or place near heat sources; close the battery box. Do not use any battery type other than specified.
• Safe cable routing: Route cables away from walkways and doors; prevent cutting or pinching.
• Moisture and rain: Do not use in standing water or flooding; immediately discontinue use of damaged or leaking products.

Cleaning, maintenance, and storage

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning; wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or immerse in water.
• Maintenance: Regularly check insulation, LED covers, connectors, and holders. Do not use damaged parts.
• Storage: Wind loosely without sharp bends, store dry and protected from frost and direct sunlight; remove batteries for long-term storage.

Specific health warnings

• Photosensitivity: Flashing or dynamic modes may cause difficulties for sensitive individuals; in such cases, use static light.
• Burns and cuts: Some elements may heat up; safely remove and replace broken LED covers.

Disposal

• Safe disposal: Hand over electronics and solar lights to electronic waste collection; dispose of batteries separately according to local regulations.

Incidents and contact

• In case of an incident (injury, overheating, smoke, sparking) immediately disconnect the product from power. Keep the product and proof of purchase for reporting purposes.
